Pure linen takes many forms. We start with woven cloth and transform it into heirlooms that will last a lifetime. Linen is the oldest textile material in the world. The combination of its superior strength, absorbency, sanitary and non-allergenic qualities makes it ideal for table and bed items for the home. We send linen from Western Europe to workrooms in the Azores, Madeira and China to create table, bed and bath linens of the very highest quality. The hand workmanship is the final touch in a long process to bring to life this finished product to the customer. We are aware that man does not live by linen alone.

We have woven an ensemble of Egyptian cotton and easycare blends from Europe and the Orient to complete our collection. The all-wool hand needlepoint is yet another form of the very finest workmanship available. We began this collection in 1891 and it has only improved with age.
